Strategy
All your jelly is in the bottom left corner in the form of 16 spinners on top of the jelly so striped candies aren’t overly effective, you are given a color bomb in the upper right hand corner and 4 jelly fish on the top left and bottom right frozen. Note that all the jelly is double jelly making this even harder. You should really try to make a striped candy and mix it with the color bomb for your best chance to clear out a lot of jelly here.

Patricia Frederick’s Tips for Candy Crush Level 269

The licorice whirls make normal striped candy matches ineffective at clearing the jellies. Try to match the jellyfish with striped or wrapped candies to make them as potent as possible. The color bomb can be matched with a striped candy or if you have candies in the jellies—match it to one of those colors.

I’ve noticed that while I once had to hunt the google page for Crushing Candies it’s now almost always at the top of the google page! Candy crushers know this is the best spot for good tips! Now I’m armed with tips so I’ll go try to finish off 269!

Well…looks like I’m done. I cannot pass this level for the life of me. Have been on it for weeks and am beyond frustration. Why do they make these so hard and nearly impossible unless you get a lucky, lucky board. Have totally lost interest. Love this game but can”t get past this level.

Well…finally passed but had to use a booster. With one jelly left, it was use one or quit the game. I was so stressed out on this level.

This level is horrible. This just might be the one that ends it for me. Too many bombs and too hard to knock the jellly’s out. Watched the video, read tips. Just can’t get ahead. I’m sad.

Just struck me – how about combining fish with wrapped candies? that should do some damage in the liquorice area.

Not a bad idea Beverley. Please tell us your tales if you manage to do this! :D

Leave the jelly fish until you have candies, not licorice, in the jelly. Try to match a stripe with a candy of a similar color to the ones in the jelly. Constantly look for your most powerful move, which is a match in the jelly (often overlooked). Stripe/package combo will only remove jelly up to the first licorice, so keep those moves again until you have some candy in the jelly. Use randomly created stripes to clear some licorice.

    Fries my grits!
No, I have not started this round yet. Ever since I downloaded the latest ios version to my iPad I am losing games. Whenever I leave the game now to go to another page (usually this one)’ I lose my game. This happens regardless of whether I have even made my first move on a new board. Please let developers know. The reast of ya, be sure you ar on the map screen, or bye bye one game. Boooo

So sick of the timed bombs. They really take all the fun out of the game for me. Is it really necessary to have them at every level?

    • Janet

Amen on that one! Sick to death of those stupid bombs. They’re even worse than the chocolate squares.

      • CrushingCandies.com

Can’t agree with you more Janet!

oh Marianne, that totally sucks. Has happened to me too, but thankfully not on the impossible levels. Might be worth trying to contact HELP and see if they’ll pass you…. since you might be stuck here a while for the next lucky board.
